Sugarcult released three records spawning multi-platinum success with hit singles such as; “Bouncing Off the Walls”, “Pretty Girl”, and “Memory” since launching out of Santa Barbara, CA in 2001.

Sugarcult headlined their own tours; performed on the main stages of festivals; & were main support on tours with Green Day, Blink 182, and countless others.

He also plays in a side-project called Bad Astronaut (w/ Lagwagon frontman Joey Cape)

Their sound is distinguished by their soaring multi-part harmonies and varied take on punk rock and skate punk, and they are known for their highly energetic live shows. Their songs often revolve around social issues, mental health, and grief, delivered through infectious melodies and sweeping choruses. The subject of mental health is an important issue to the group, who regularly advocates for the national suicide hotline through songs such as “Call 9-8-8” and the suicide hotline long form number being written on one of the guitars on stage.
