We’re thrilled to share that ‘LADIES FIRST’ is out now on Netflix, featuring Editing by echo’s Mark Everson BFE.

Directed by Thea Sharrock and produced by Netflix and 3dot Productions, the film stars Sacha Baron Cohen and Rosamund Pike.

The film follows a male chauvinist who is transported into a matriarchal society, where he comes face to face with a formidable female version of himself.

We’re pleased to share that as Cannes 2026 comes to a close ‘BLACK CHURCH BAY’ has been selected for the Great 8 Showcase, featuring Production Design and Costume Design by echo’s Paix Robinson, BFDG.

Written and directed by Rhys Marc Jones, the mystery-drama follows a conflicted young teacher navigating the aftermath and dark consequences of a high school student disappearing.

Produced by The Bureau + BBC Film, the film stars Tom Cullen, Joe Locke, Marli Siu and Rakie Ayola.

We’re delighted to share that ‘THE BALLOONISTS’ is out in UK cinemas tomorrow, featuring Cinematography by echo’s Will Pugh.

Directed by John Dower and produced by Rise Films and Anonymous Content, the documentary follows adventurers Bertrand Piccard and Brian Jones on their groundbreaking attempt to become the first people to circumnavigate the globe by balloon.

The documentary premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2025.

We’re excited to share that ‘A MUSTARD SEED’, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Buki Ebiesuwa, was awarded Best Short Film (Genesis Award) at the London Independent Film Festival.

Directed by Femi Oladigbolu and produced by Somesuch and BBC Film, the film follows Mide, a young man raised in a strict Nigerian Christian Pentecostal household in Britain, as he navigates grief, doubt and faith.

The film stars Hope Ikpoku Jnr as Mide and Tayo Aluko as Pastor Tayo, and is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.

‘MARIE MADELEINE’, featuring echo’s Director of Photography Nicolas Canniccioni, premieres today at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival in the Cannes Première section.

The film is a new feature by Géssica Généus, continuing her exploration of identity and culture.

The Cannes Film Festival runs from 12th–23rd May 2026.

We’re pleased to share that 'JEAN-MICHEL', a feature documentary on Jean-Michel Basquiat, featuring work by echo’s Director of Photography Jo Jo Lam, will premiere at Tribeca Film Festival this summer as part of the Documentary Competition.

Directed by Viridiana Lieberman and Quinn Whitney Wilson, the film offers an intimate look at one of the 20th century’s most celebrated and imitated artists, told through the perspective of his family.

'JEAN-MICHEL' premieres on 5th June, with Tribeca running from 3rd –14th June 2026.
