Eddie Gals and I got to link up to record his original song, “Your Last Days Pay” at Drowning Fish Studio. We kept the approach raw and authentic, using mininmal processing to preserve the natural feel of the record. I had the opportunity to handle the recording, mixing, and mastering,

This was our first collab, and we’re excited to soon share a behind-the-scenes look at the entire process. From writing and production to mic selection, placement, recording, mixing, and mastering. Shoutout to Drowning Fish Studio for the opportunity. Looking forward to many more sessions ahead!

Check the fourth slide, what you’re hearing is completely raw: no mix, no edits, just a touch of reverb on the snare. Big ups to superb talent and a top-tier studio. It makes the engineer’s job so much easier.
