This collection of photographs contains the cover image for the record, as well as several alternate versions that were considered as close to final options during the making of the album. I went back and forth between the eye and mouth images because they were both striking visually to me, but decided on the final album cover image when I realized it best suited the song format nature of this particular body of work. Several friends have asked me if the image was of my mouth, which is funny to me because that is sort of what I had hoped the cover would communicate. These are songs I sung with my lips and teeth and tongue, in all their raw unkempt beauty. All credit goes to @emesofia_ on the images, also I don’t have a pierced lip 👄
