My bro @elllio is having a hell of a season with @umichbball 💪

Everybody sees the work on the big screen… but most don’t see the off-season grind.

One of the hardest-working players I’ve ever been around.

Since 7th grade, we’ve been in the Lab, and he ALWAYS shows up. No shortcuts. No excuses. For 8 years.

This off-season was locked in on shooting. Dialed all the way in. And when the work ethic is real, it always shows.

For all the young’s out there, just know, that when you’re watching Elliot hoop, he’s put in ten thousand hours + . Two a days, for years. He was patient, kept his head down, and never cheated the grind. And… you can too.

@hoopstudy Phase 4: Chaos. Curl Shooting Drill X Defense Initiates.

Quick teaching point focusing on being able to see your defender or “peek” at your defender while getting into off ball catches.

Important micro skill that should come natural, but I have found many players struggle with the concept, and drills like this repped out with live defense really can capture the feel of a defender trailing.
