California's Vietnamese New Wave era (1980s-1990s) was groundbreaking.

Curator, DJ, producer and Creative Director @Demonslayer__ gives us a brief introduction to the vibrant scene that birthed a never-before-seen take on Vietnamese American entertainment and media.

Emerging from Little Saigon in Orange County, California came a music and lifestyle scene that became known as "New Wave"; it incorporated Eurodance, Synth-Pop, Italo Disco, Hi-NRG, Electronica and other genres into a mixed bag of synthesizers and a new, counter culture Vietnamese identity.

First time in Miami history; the largest Tết celebration the city has ever seen 🫠

@tamtamlunarfest was unforgettable, surreal. Asian and Vietnamese music blasting all across downtown Miami. Latin, Afro cultures intertwined and claiming its deserved space. Joy and excellence all around. We all celebrated life this weekend 🙏🏽
