I really struggled this year. It started hard and seemed only to intensify every month after. And, from what I’ve gathered, I’m not alone in this. For many, it seemed too full of challenges.

I feel more than a year older, but it’s not the hardship that I’ll remember. It’s what the hardship has made me into, and that is where I see the pay off. If not for the struggle in the dark, the light would never be known.

Like a snake shedding its skin, we’ll all be born new again. But only if we choose the path of wisdom.
