Smushes became the final title for these 18ky hammered blobs of gold. I love the euphonic nature of the word smush. Symbolizing lateral red port and green starboard navigation lights. We’re all searching for something. You are the captain of your own ship, but you need light, you need guidance for your journeys. That is the metaphor it is all riding on. Maybe you’re lost; spiritually. Maybe life is not going according to plan and you’re searching for a way through. The symbolism of these earrings deeply resonate with my recent body of work: meditations on water, color, light and navigational metaphors. Lovely photo @coleimage

Shayna Jingst’s attention to detail and choice of stones had me drooling over this one. The craftsmanship and stones are exquisite and I LOVE the colors she chose encased in smooth gold.

This hand-carved and cast 18k gold ring holds an amazing xtra juicy Mandarin garnet with ruby accents. It’s a size 6 1/4.
How could you not fall in Love with this ring.
