Another little addition to the Bloom Library today… this study explores the quiet dance between background, midground and foreground. Learning to separate these layers helps create depth, atmosphere and a pathway for the eye to travel naturally through the painting.
The background whispers, the midground connects, and the foreground steps forward and sings. Sometimes creating depth isn’t about adding more — it’s about knowing what to soften, what to lose and what to let shine.
