The problem with catcalling, apart from the fact that its disgusting, is that it is inspired by a thought process that makes you believe you have ownership of the person you're subjecting the abuse to. It strips a whole human being into a few parts of their body, and you believe that you are entitled to make comments about them, when they're clearly uncomfortable.

I really want to know if catcalling has EVER worked for someone.🤔 Like, you say whatever it is that you say and then the victim jumps on you and says, "MARRY ME PLEASE I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YEARS TO BE TOLD THAT I HAVE AN ASS BUT I"M NOT PRETTY!😍😍" If that has ever worked for anyone then... what? Hello, humans of the planet earth.
A catcall while on your way to work or play is never welcome and never okay.
Respect is necessary, and whistling at a passerby will get you NOWHERE, as I'm sure you're already aware.
