The time has come for flowers to be in full bloom, the chorus of birdsong to be its most rapturous.

We’re incredibly excited to be hosting fiesta en el vacío on her upcoming UK tour! Pink in Stockport on 6th December, with Hayley Suviste & Yem Gel as supports and Nouen djing between sets - it shall be a very nice evening :))

FIESTA EN EL VACÍO - @fiesta_en_el_vacio is the solo project of Luna María Cedrón. Her music is inspired by Occitan folk, and the militant songs of the 70s. Her lyrics, which are both funny and worrying, take on a new lease of life with more stripped-down pop-rock tunes. In concert, she performs her own compositions, palos from cante jondo such as la seguiriya, and covers of Latin American folklore.

HAYLEY SUVISTE - Working across field recording, archival sound, and moving image, @hayleysuviste uses her music to explore community and culture. Her practice spans installation art, live performance, and long-form compositions - utilising techniques such as ambisonics and multi-channel audio to create expansive sonic experiences that invite reflection on our relationships with place, environment, and the stories that shape them.

Practicing apotropaic turnip magic with @twinklywinky IN or ABOUT Thursbitch, the demon (þyrs) valley (baech) for (All) Hallow(s) E(v)en, which I have stopped calling Samhain because i’m not Irish and the English have stolen enough from them.

Beginning with auspicious drenched rainbow fields of fresh roots, then the light dying quickly, then the wind howling, the sheep rotting the waters gurgling (butter offered) the stones humming the deity (?) stirring and roaring the farms hiding and everything becoming old and still as the flagstones in the 18th Century chapel of Jenkin.

Garnerian magick for the thinned veil and Welcome to all restless spirits, may u find whatever it is you need.
