kitarumo’s (Jeremi Biziuk) performances translate ideas of a longing for a world where computerisation was still 'fresh', analogue solutions persisted, the access to create and control the outcomes still lay within communities, and the entry point was still wide open for any voice.

Using self-built modular synthesizers, dressed up in suits of scrapped embroideries, surrounded by images inspired by pixel art and themes alike, kitarumo becomes a sonic entity where melodies and rhythms morph and distort into noise. The digital and electronic means are sculpted into organic and human shapes, and the frustration of something important being lost is articulated into heavy blankets of sound.

Jeremi Biziuk invites you to "It's only a move", a performance and sound installation at @out.house.gallery .

Opening Performance:
Saturday, May 30th, 18.00-20.00
Exhibition:
Sunday, May 31st, 12.00-17.00

For this project which explores ambience and narration through sound, Jeremi brings his sound making-machines, speakers, and cables, all cast in organic shapes reminiscent of a place close to a recent past, which has never actually existed.
The title is taken from Aleksandra Komsta's @aleksandrakomsta writings used in collaboration with Jeremi throughout last year. What's come after is an album, physically printed in a shape not so clear, sonically searching for a meaning in cyclic changes.

Jeremi's practice deals with searching for a reimagined home, an organic shell made through synthetic means. They do so by putting together their own sound systems, making use of what's been the closest to their idea of a home; digital spaces, open-source projects, online based communities, and the shared knowledge and passion that's been found there not so long ago. This imaginary place is often explored during performances, where Jeremi acts directly on his machines and searches for tones and drones to replace the words that don't exist.

See you at outhouse;

Introducing Jeremi Biziuk

Jeremi Biziuk is an audio-visual artist born in Poland. Their works deal with the complementary contrast between organic and synthetic forms and sounds. Using open source solutions and economically sustainable materials they craft objects and creatures inspired by the uncanniness loosely reminiscent of the early internet days and digital media from that era. Their works become sound generating machines, speakers, costumes, and moving image sculptures, some of which are also present during their performances and music releases exploring those tensions and fascinations.

Part of the market & exhibition
May 8 — Tillatec, Amsterdam
From 21:00 till late

These creatures kept living inside my head since last summer, when I couldn't help but admire the abundant led screens scattered in public spaces on a trip we took. Since then I've been noticing them everywhere, with much more attention and willingness to give them a living shape.

Presented during our show at @galerie21_vorwerkstift together with lovely @sihr____ and @a_anstett in Hamburg.

Corrupted files. Emotional bandwidth.

Jeremi Biziuk (kitarumo) is an audiovisual artist working with open source technologies, DIY methods, and economically sustainable approaches to digital creation. Their practice draws from the visual language of the early internet, the edginess of underground communities, and the online spaces where creativity and connection once flourished before the rise of paywalls, subscriptions, and algorithmic excess.

Through performance, these ideas are translated into sound. Using self built modular synthesizers, dressed in suits made from scrapped embroideries and surrounded by pixel inspired imagery, kitarumo becomes a sonic entity where melodies and rhythms morph into distortion and noise. Digital and electronic tools are reshaped into something organic and human, carrying both nostalgia and the frustration of something valuable being lost.

During @Fevrfestival, kitarumo performs at @Basement_CPH, activating the space with layered sound, texture, and visual intensity.

Experience the performance on March 6th, 2026, at @Basement_CPH, from 5PM to 2AM.
