It was one of the four beers we had on tap when opened on March 13th, 2017. If you count the 83 pilot batches we got through before we got our doors open, at this point “LOCAL 755” is the culmination of over a decade of our R&D into brewing with hops & learning what IPAs can be.

In honor of our Murky Main Squeeze & as a token of our appreciation to all you fine folks that have put back a pint of 755 at The ‘Stack with us, ordered one while you’re out at a dinner with friends or just cracked a can on the couch after a long day over the last 8+ years, we’re starting a new tradition at The StackRoom™:

It’s been an interesting couple years for the craft beer industry. At @barreltheory & Blackstack Brewing, we’ve been trading brews since before we opened 2 months apart almost 8 years ago & we’re still swapping suds (& stories) to this day🤜🤛

Whether it’s a couple bags of hops or a late night pity party over a beer or 5, we’ve had each other’s back since the jump. What made it so fun in the beginning is the same thing that keeps us coming back now. With a full understanding of how sappy it sounds… It’s about the beer, but at the end of the day, it’s really about the friends you make along the way.

We’re not wasting today… Just Wasting Away. Plays well with Lime, Salt & the perfect companion for whatever beach you happen to wash up on🏝️🍻

The next brew in a series showcasing some of our  favorite new selected lots, in this case Dolcita (Formerly HBC 1019) & putting them out to pasture with Cryo Pop, specifically formulated by Yakima Chief Hops for dry hopping during primary fermentation 🤓🧪

It’s a running joke when we rub hops each harvest… “Yeah, I like everything about it… I just wish it popped more.” It turns out that “popping more” can be an incredibly difficult thing to quantify for a sensory panel.
Yeah, I like it… But can we make it pop more? 🤔💭

We had to run it back on this solid sunrise chugger we brewed with our fam near & far at @luabrewing @bricksworthbeer 🧱

Brewed with German Pils Malt & a lil’ spelt for those moments in the A.M. when you need to borrow a bag of hops & you wanna have a quick cold one with your buds, but you still need to be an adult for the rest of the day. It’s just the neighborly thing to do🤷🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏽‍♂️
