BCUC se vraća – i ako si propustio njihov prvi nastup u Zagrebu u kolovozu 2024., ovo je prilika koju ne želiš ignorirati. Nakon tog koncerta kojeg su mnogi opisali kao nešto daleko više od obične svirke, južnoafrički kolektiv ponovno dolazi pred publiku spreman isporučiti još jedno intenzivno, sirovo i potpuno nepredvidivo iskustvo. Jer BCUC nisu bend koji se “sluša” – oni se doživljavaju.

BCUC na Metno donosi koncert koji se ne sluša mirno. Njihov zvuk je sirov, glasan, hipnotičan i stvoren za ples, a čini ga savršen spoj afričkih ritmova, punka i funka.

Njihovi nastupi izgledaju kao ritual, a publika vrlo brzo postaje dio cijele priče. Upravo zato savršeno pristaju Metnu, festivalu na kojem se glazba ne sluša sa strane nego proživljava, pod otvorenim nebom, uz atmosferu koju je teško objasniti ako je ne doživite.

De origens humildes, ensaiando num contentor de transporte a poucos passos da igreja onde Desmond Tutu organizou a fuga dos ativistas anti-apartheid mais procurados de Soweto, os BCUC cresceram e tornaram-se numa banda aclamada, atuando nos maiores palcos de alguns dos festivais mais importantes do mundo: Glastonbury, Roskilde, Afropunk Brooklyn, Dour, Worldwide, Womad, Fusion, Sziget, FMM Sines, Beaches Brew, Boomtown, Colours of Ostrava, Couleur Café.
