This is our second beer, a German style wheat beer, and at a sessionable 4.4% ABV it's coming out of the tap rather a lot quicker than expected. #wheatbeer #homebrew #kegerator

Beer number 2 is now kegged and currently being cold crashed. We decided to buy an additional 12 litre keg so we can have two on the go. All fits in the kegerator very nicely! #homebrewing #kegerator

Mashing away! The next beer is a Weissbeer, using Wheat and pilsner malt.

Finally! Our first ever beer is now ready to drink (although we must admit to having a few cheeky tries while it was still conditioning!) For a first try it's really not bad at all, with a lovely aroma and a hoppy, tropical taste. The only problem is it's a bit stronger than we thought (6.5% ABV) so it's going to take us a little while to get through 19 litres of the stuff. We've decided to call this beer 'Hopical Storm' #homebrew #bathwaterbrewing

Kegerator build complete! The beer has been cold crashed and just needs to condition for two weeks. We're not sure if we can wait that long! #homebrewing #kegerator
