I am so proud of my sister Carrie and her incredibly powerful debut novel. When she shared the first draft with me nearly 3 years ago, I read the whole thing in 2 days, cried, jump-scared whenever anyone entered the room, and was just completely sucked into this haunting, tangible, terrifying and beautiful story.
