Nobody prepared me for the Pokemon era of being a boy mom, but I am allllll in❤️😍 Can’t believe my first baby is SEVEN. I love you so much JJ!

If you’re thinking of recreating something similar, here’s how I created the perfect party for him with minimal hassle!

💥 Invited 7 of his closest friends, all who are equally obsessed with Pokémon (opted out of full classroom invite or family friends for first time this year to keep it small + focused on what he really loves…POKÉMON lol)

💥 Told each kid to bring their binders to show off + gave each kid a new pack of cards to kick off the trading. Was so cute to see them get excited for each other when someone would open up! (Did this instead of goodie bags!)

💥 @_magicminds came to set up a kids table with mini chairs + iron on patch party with trucker hats/tshirts they could customize + take home (best part - she helps kids during party and then cleans up / takes everything down as soon as it’s done😅)

💥 Bought balloons on Amazon (done by my sister & mama @kmbashorty @nmb3057 they are the balloon queens!!)
