UNESCO invites young people aged 14 to 25 worldwide to participate in the 2026 Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads Photo Contest.

Organized within the #UNESCOSilkRoads Programme, this global initiative encourages youth to explore cultural connections and highlight the diversity of communities linked across these historic routes.

This year’s theme, “Living Heritage Along the Silk Roads,” calls for photographs that capture how heritage continues to connect people across cultures and regions.

Three winners per age category will receive cameras, and around 60 selected photographs will be featured in the “Youth Lens on the Silk Roads” album and exhibited worldwide.
