Introducing the first ever edition of Be Here Radio :)

On occasion people have asked me why I always post a spiral everywhere and what it means to me. Aside from it being an extension of the first letter of my name and my favorite effect to use when I mix, this is a symbol I’ve always looked to as a reminder of the impermanence of life and its phases.

When we’re in the “good times” it feels great , it’s a feeling we hope to keep for as long as possible. So much so that when we’re in the “bad times” it can feel inescapable, almost like the “good times”were simply an illusion. The fact of the matter is , both periods are beneficial, as they allow us to grow, especially after the “bad”. I’ve found life to flow much smoother once I’ve accepted that you can’t have one without the other, and both are effective tools to elevate into your highest self.

These are parts of our path that we will continue to experience for as long we’re here. When I get in my head about the past, or something I may be anxious about in the future, I look to the spiral as a reminder to simply ‘be here’, in the present moment. Sometimes we get so stuck in our head that we forget to fully immerse ourselves into what’s right in front of us, during time we will never get back.
