When I was 12 years old and diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, my first question wasn’t “why me?”. It was, “can I still play hockey?”

Playing in the NHL was something I always dreamt of, following inmy dad’s footsteps. T1D didn’t change that dream. It just changed theway I had to prepare for it.

Diabetes is complex. Hockey is fast. Life moves quickly. The righttools matter. Omnipod 5 has helped simplify my day to day so I canfocus on the game and my team.

To every kid who gets diagnosed and wonders if their dream is still possible… it is. You’ve got this. I’m cheering for you.

On July 27, the inaugural Max Domi Golf Classic, presented by @Omnipodca, tees off atMagna Golf Club in Aurora, Ontario! ⛳️

Hosted by @Max and supported by Insulet, the makers of Omnipod, this new event will bring together athletes, celebrities and the community to raise funds for the Max Domi Fund for Type 1 Diabetes in support of Breakthrough T1D Canada.

Since launching his Fund in 2019, Max has been committed to inspiring people living with type 1 diabetes and improving daily life with the disease. This tournament is about turning that commitment into impact. Let’s tee up for T1D. 💙
