Asia’s mother is her first and greatest source of inspiration. The design was born from Liz’s love of sports, and the life she lived, characterized by strength and intention. She played volleyball and basketball in her youth and college years, and that athletic spirit continues to live on through her children. Even though she’s no longer here in the physical, her presence has guided Asia since she was a little girl. Naming Aseye’s first official design after her mother felt like the only option because Asia wouldn’t be here without her… literally. She is forever a part of Asia’s story and thus both her parents’ influences are deeply woven into the DNA of Aseye.

We hope that wearers of the Liz Varsity Jacket feel the love, care, and detail that went into every element—from the lines and fabric to the color choices. And more than anything, we hope it gives you confidence and a greater sense of belonging.
